The loss of a tooth, whether due to Accident or as a result of tooth decay or periodontitis, can have a significant impact on quality of life. One way to close the gap and thereby restore function is a Dental bridge. However, this requires grinding down healthy neighboring teeth. Often, a dental implant, especially in the front teeth area, is the better alternative. Dental implants are firmly screwed into the jaw, thereby replacing the tooth root. They form the basis for the ceramic dental crown anchored on top of them.

After the healing phase, which can take up to several months, we will fit your dental prosthesis in our practice. To do this, we first create a digital dental impression using the Intraoral scanner. Many patients find this treatment step pleasant, as this modern method of taking impressions dispenses with impression material and is performed quickly. Based on the digital data, our dental technician produces your dental prosthesis in the in-house laboratory, which we then attach to the implant. Implant-supported dental prostheses are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth in terms of both aesthetics and function, and are usually the best way to give you back your confident smile and, with it, a great deal of quality of life.
