2. Data that is processed for the provision of the website and the creation of the log files
a) What data are processed for what purpose?
Every time website content is accessed, data that may allow identification is temporarily stored. The following data is collected in the process:
The temporary storage of data is necessary for the duration of a website visit to enable the website to be displayed. Data is also stored in log files to ensure the proper functioning of the website and the security of our IT systems. These purposes also constitute our legitimate interest in processing the data.
b) On what legal basis is this data processed?
The data is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
c) Are there any other recipients of the personal data besides the controller?
The website is hosted by Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, email impressum@strato.de hosted. The hosting provider receives the data listed above in its capacity as a data processor.
d) How long will the data be stored?
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of providing the website, this is when the respective session has ended. The log files are stored directly and exclusively accessible to administrators for a maximum of 24 hours. After that, they are only available indirectly via the reconstruction of backup tapes and are finally deleted after a maximum of four weeks.

a) Right of access
You can request information pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR about your personal data that we process.
b) Right to object
You have the right to object for special reasons (see under item II).
c) Right to Rectification
If the information concerning you is no longer accurate, you may request a correction under Article 16 of the GDPR. If your data is incomplete, you may request that it be completed.
d) Right to erasure
You can request the erasure of your personal data pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR.
e) Right to restriction of processing

g) Right to data portability
If the conditions set forth in Article 20(1) of the GDPR are met, you have the right to have data that we process automatically—based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract—provided to you or to a third party. The collection of data for the purpose of providing the website and the storage of log files are strictly necessary for the operation of the website. They are therefore not based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR or on a contract under Article 6( 1(b) of the GDPR, but are justified under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Accordingly, the requirements of Article 20(1) of the GDPR are not met in this respect.

If you contact us via our contact form, the information you provide in the form will be stored along with your contact information. This is to process your inquiry and any follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent.
The processing of this information is carried out in accordance with the data protection regulations of the GDPR. If your request is related to a contract or requires pre-contractual measures, the processing is based on this basis. In other cases, it is based either on our legitimate interest in the efficient processing of requests or on your consent, if required. You can revoke your consent at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Statutory provisions, such as retention periods, remain unaffected.
If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiries and personal data will also be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your request, but will not be passed on without your consent. The data protection principles pursuant to the GDPR also apply here.
5. Appointment scheduling via Doctolib
We offer patients the opportunity via the portal: www.doctolib.de to book an appointment online for our consultation hours and other services attributable to our sphere. For this purpose, we use the service of the company Doctolib GmbH, Mehringdamm 51 – 10961 Berlin, Telephone: +49 (0)89 20702884 & E-Mail: kontakt@doctolib.de. The system will provide you with available times in our calendar.
To use Doctolib's appointment booking service, you are required to enter certain personal data and agree to Doctolib's current privacy policy during the booking process.
The data you entered into the form will be forwarded exclusively for the purpose of appointment organization to Doctolib and processed there. The data will be used solely for the purpose of scheduling appointments and transmitting appointment-related information (e.g., an appointment reminder, sending any preliminary findings, etc.) and will be transmitted to us automatically. Neither we nor Doctolib will process or disclose your data for any other purposes. Automatic recognition for subsequent use is not intended.

The controller shall no longer process the personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of log files are absolutely essential for the operation of the website.
